Honoring the Healer | Arielle Simone

What is your name & location?

My name is Arielle Simone and I am located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn - New York City

How do you heal (or help heal) people?

I teach people how to eat, move and live for energy. I teach people how to eat and live holistically. I am also a personal trainer and dance fitness instructor. I inspire people to be the best versions of themselves through holistic practices such as exercise, a well-balanced diet and spiritual work.

What type of benefits does your method of healing provide?

My healing helps people transform their relationship with food. People discover who they are as emotional eaters. People will learn how to eat beyond taste but instead for nutrients, nourishment, and fulfillment.

When did you realize that you wanted to heal people/why did you start?

I used to be a fashion model when I was 18 years old. By the time I turned 22 I was extremely sick and malnourished. I was very, very thin and weak. People often have this huge misconception of skinny being fit. I was skinny yet unfit. Walking up one flight of stairs used to be really challenging. I went to Paris, France for modeling. I passed out on my way to the Eiffel Tower and was hospitalized. I never got to see even see the Eiffel Tower. Major bummer! Everything happens for a reason. When the door for fashion modeling closed, I opened up a fitness door. I knew that I wanted to learn how to eat for energy, how to move for energy and how to live for energy. I transformed my life and now I help others do the same.

Why is what you do so important?

Many people know that nutrition is important but they have NO idea how to go about improving their health through diet. There are a ton of fad diets that do not teach people how to live for longevity, vitality and energy. Every single meal that we eat is either a trigger for a disease or better health. That is why I am here to teach people how to achieve optimal health through both diet and exercise.

What is your inspiration to continue doing what you are doing? What is the fuel that keeps you going?

I get extremely excited when my clients realize how much energy they have immediately after working with me. I know that they are learning how to live and not just lose or gain weight. Teaching people how to take care of their temple is so exciting! Witnessing clients have that AHA moment is priceless. Witnessing a transformation is beyond gratifying. I've seen someone change their diet that changed their entire life.

How does it make you feel when you are healing people?

Complete. I feel wholesome. It is such a rewarding feeling. Inspiring other truly inspires me. I get on this natural high when I bear witness to transformations.

What are your visions &/or goals?

I have a vision that people will learn from me and teach their friends and family. They will naturally build a network of learning how to take care of your temple. We only get one body and being that we can't hit up the closest store and return it we must take care of it. My goal is to educate. My goal is to motivate. My goal is to give... and to inspire giving. My goal is to take my nutrition program abroad! Eat Retreats soon come :)

Tell us a fun fact about what it is that you do, or something people may not know.

I absolutely love rollerblading! I rollerblade to Hot Yoga just about 4-5x a week.

In one sentence, what is your message to the world?

You are the CoCreator of your very own life.

Is there is anything else that you would like to share about yourself or what it is that you do?

I am extremely unpredictable and impulsive. I am really sensitive to energy. If the moment is flowing and I am excited I am more susceptible to doing something really sporadic. I've went to places to visit for a few days and stayed. Called my jobs back home and quit. The energy was high I knew it was the right thing to do. I say that to say this. Trust yourself. The universe will then meet you halfway. It's waiting on you. I like to travel. I try my best to live with freedom. Freedom is helping others. It is moving without restriction. It is loving without restriction. Giving without restriction. It is about being limitless. I am limitless.

We see that you started making journals, can you please tell us more about that?

I created Karibu Journals because having a gratitude journal changed my life. Karibu means to be welcomed in Kiswahili. I studied abroad in Tanzania and it was one of the first words I learned there. Practicing gratitude helped me search for the positives in every situation forcing me to always see the glass half full. It helped me redirect my energy to manifest more light, more love, and more thankfulness. I am currently studying to be a Holistic Coach and I teach people how to eat, move, and live for energy. Each journal comes with a 10-Day Gratitude Challenge designed to bring more peace into your Universe. To practice gratitude is to not only see the silver lining but to appreciate it as well. Journaling has reminded me to love, to give, to live. It is fulfilling. I created Karibu Journals to inspire others to be fulfilled. We are the CoCreators of our very own lives and we should never forget that.
